Amimon Pro Product line is specially designed to address the strict, high-standard requirements of the medical, pro-camera, digital-signage and installation markets for wireless video.
There are two use cases where wireless video is crucial: (1) Live broadcasting where camera content is uploaded in real time to the broadcast channel. (2) Real time monitoring of the camera in action.
Most of the live broadcasting requires long cables running behind each camera, to connect the camera and the uplink system typically residing in a van.   By using AMIMON's "Wireless Video Modem" technology, the cameras can be wirelessly connected to replace the long  and heavy cables. IDX offers a solution based on Amimon chipset for pro-cameras that provides the highest HD quality (1080p) for ranges of up to 100 meters.
In studios the director, producer and other members of the production crew can watch the shooting of a scene in real time via heavy and long SDI cables connecting the camera man to the director monitor, with Amimon wireless video solutions it is now possible to eliminate the wires thus freeing the director to move with a portable monitor and see in real time the scene allowing him to take a more active role in real time.
