AMN 2130/2230
The AMN 2130/2132 transmitter and AMN2230 receiver chipset are the third generation of AMIMON's baseband wireless video modem. This generation is designed to further enhance the video link robustness and meet the low cost, low power and small footprint requirements of the NB and mobile markets. This third-generation chipset complies with WHDI™ (Wireless Home Digital Interface™) 1.0/2.0 and HDCP2.0. It will offer significant enhancements in signal quality, higher robustness, support for even higher video resolution of 4K2K and smart power management.
The integration of multiple interfaces, including HDMI 1.4, LVDS and USB 2.0 as well as two μProcessors inside the IC, will dramatically reduce the total system size, integration costs and BOM.
Supporting DFS allows transmission in many more frequencies (in the 5GHz bandwidth) and thus enables multiple systems to work in same environment.
The AMN213x transmitters will also support coexistence of WHDI and WiFi by using time-sharing of the frequency slot, allowing the user to configure the amount of time allocated by the system to WiFi during each frame without degradation in quality.
